The listed committee's are always in need of volunteers. If you have an interest in
a particular committee, please do not hesitate to contact a board member voicing your interest.
Committee membership only requires a small amount of time, but can be quite gratifying.
Architectural committee:
The Architectural Committee is a permanent committee established by our Covenants
and Bylaws to administer architectural control of the community. Members review
architectural requests submitted by the homeowners to insure the
quality and maintenance of our community.

Financial Committee:
The Financial Committee is a permanent committee that administers the financial business
for the Association. The committee works with the Treasurer on the collection of the
annual dues and community expenditures. A few of the more important tasks include:
- Printing and mailing of the annual dues
- Weekly collection and deposit of the dues from the P.O. Box
- Documentation of each homeowners payment history
- HOA checkbook maintenance (including financial statements)
- Yearly HOA tax preparation
- Yearly HOA incorporation filing

Landscape Committee:
The Landscape Committee is a permanent committee that manages the communities common
areas. The committee consists of a group of residents with a common interest in the asthetic
concerns of the common grounds. The immediate concerns of the committee will be, but
not limited to the following:
- Maintenance of a quality landscape throughout the commons
- Management of the resource base to enhance senic quality
- Seasonal effects - e.g., decorations
- Contract services i.e., grounds maintenance, landscaping etc.
The Landscape committee will be headed by a chairperson who will report to the Board of
Directors of the Association. The committee will be involved in the maintenance of landscaped areas,
development and improvement of the common areas and the repair of vegetation and associated improvements
in the common grounds.

Newsletter Committee:
The Newsletter Committee is a permanent committee that collects information, prepares articles
and publishes our Canbury Woods Newsletter to keep residents informed of community activities.
In the past, the newsletter was in printed form, however, with the advent of the web site
the publication may now also be available in electronic form.

Social Committee:
The Social Committee is a permanent committee that is dedicated to providing a good time.
Several community functions are planned yearly to get neighborhood families together in a
social atmosphere.
Examples are:
- Easter egg hunt
- Pot luck dinner
- Community picnic
